Synopsis

The Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC) Acquisition Management Department, Bethesda, MD on behalf of Central Sterile Supply intends to award a sole source procurement to Caring Hands Health Equipment and Supplies Inc for parts.

The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. This requirement is urgent and needed for patient care. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive bids. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

Award will be made using SAP.
