NSN 0R-5821-015277802-BP, IAW REF NR 822-2034-002, QTY 14 EA, DELIVERY FOB

ORIGIN, ISSUE TO ROCKWELL COLLINS INC, CEDAR RAPIDS, IA 52948-0001. This noticeof intent is not a request for competitive quotes and the proposed/contractaction is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to negotiate

with only one source. Interested persons may identify their interest andcapability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes. Quotes received prior

to the award date will be considered by the Government.A determination by theGovernment not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to thisnotice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information receivedwill normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether toconduct a competitive procurement. The design of this part is unstable.Engineering, manufacturing, or performance characteristics indicate that therequired design objectives have not been achieved. Major changes arecontemplated because the part has a low process yield or has demonstratedmarginal performance during tests or service use. These changes will render thepresent part obsolete and unusable in its present configuration. Limitedacquisition from the present source is anticipated pending configurationchanges. -SEE NOTES 9, 26
