Synopsis

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with Rockwell Collins Inc, Cedar Rapids, Iowa for the procurement of up to a QTY (41) ARC-243 High Frequency Radio Systems. The system includes the following part numbers: P/N 622-7825-003, Mount; P/N 822-0771-006, 400W Power Amp/Power Supply; P/N 822-1211-001, PA Mount; P/N 822-1511-004, Receiver Exciter Mount; P/N 822-1706-002 Shunt Coupler; and P/N 822-2158-002, Receiver Exciter. Aircraft Integration, Ground and Flight Test Support Engineering Services will also be procured. The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own current data drawings or other specifications to permit full and open competition. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government, not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
