Synopsis

The architect/engineer firm shall provide all equipment, labor, materials, travel, etc. necessary to complete the design of a project to complete the design for demolition and removal of existing air handling unit, ductwork, piping, insulation, heating coils, wiring, conduit and all other items related to the Building 2 Lab HVAC System. The location of the project is at the Veterans Healthcare of the Ozarks Medical Center campus, 1100 North College Avenue, Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Design shall include a new variable air volume (VAV) chilled water air handling unit with individual terminal boxes for zone control and hot water re-heat, duct system, piping, and electrical. Other additional requirements will be required and stated in the Request for Proposals when it is issued. This is not a request for a proposal.

Evaluation consideration will be as follows: (1) specialized experience of the firm of the similar contracts; (2) past record of performance on similar contracts; (3) geographic location of facilities of the working office; (4) specific experience and qualifications of personnel proposed for assignment to the project. Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small/Emerging Small Business firms desiring consideration should submit SF330, Architect-Engineer Qualifications on or before February 7, 2011. Award is subject to availability of funds. This is not a request for a proposal.
