The Hyatt Foundation is the funder of the $100,000 2009 Pritzker Architecture Prize which will be awarded to Swiss architect, Peter Zumthor. He was educated at Pratt Institute of Brooklyn, New York City, during the 1960s, has won many other international awards, and wrote the book, "Thinking Architecture."
